A Message from John Pilgrim
Poetry is a wonderful way for young people to learn to express themselves.
I applaud Philip Bell's efforts to encourage children to experiment with language. Without doubt children these
days are subjected to many pressures. The Young Poet Society is a way in which children can learn to enjoy a simple pleasure
which, will not only serve them in later life but one they can share with others. Through the Young Poet Society young people
are able to communicate with others all over the globe. Philip has carefully nurtured his dream of creating the society
and he is to be highly commended. I know, from personal experience that Philip is committed to bringing the enjoyment and
understanding of poetry to as many of his fellow human beings as possible and I wish him well.
