YPS on BBC Three Counties Radio
January 2nd. The Founder of the YPS was a guest on BBC Three Counties Radio in John Pilgrim's Out and About Program
which featured two star poets from teh Society. First up was Rachael Ammari via a telephone link with her home in Hampshire.
Rachael was quizzed by John with a wide range of questions before being given the opportunity to read a poem of her choosing.
Rachael handled both interview and reading like a professional and earned genuine praise from all.
Kelly Sickle was our studio guest and like Rachael managed an excellent performance and even managed to keep a seasoned
radio presenter in his place.
I can confirm that in private conversations with John after the show, he was amazed at the budding talent we have with
these two young poets.

Easter Poetry Contest 2007
Following the successful 2006 poetry contest, with two years of entries from Roundwood Primary School, we will be writing
to all local Primary Schools again this Autumn with details of our 2007 contest. If you want your school to take part please
make contact with us via our contact page.
